Confidence behind the wheel fades faster than skill does. If you have not driven for months or years — after an illness, a move, a break from owning a car, or a knock that shook you — a refresher lesson gets you back on the road without the pressure of being assessed.
There is no syllabus here. Your first lesson starts with a conversation about what actually worries you, then we drive. Some students want one session to shake off the rust. Others book a short run of lessons to rebuild in stages.
What a refresher lesson covers
- Whatever you name — roundabouts, parallel parking, merging, highway driving or night driving.
- A dual-control car, so there is always a second set of pedals if you need them.
- Current NSW road rules, including anything that has changed since you last drove.
- Honest feedback on what is genuinely a problem and what is just nerves.
- Pick-up and drop-off from wherever suits you.

These lessons are for drivers who already hold a licence but are not driving with confidence:

Most drivers feel a clear difference after one or two lessons. If you have been off the road for several years, a short run of lessons spread over a few weeks usually works better than one long session.
Lessons run in our dual-control car, which is what makes them safe if something goes wrong. Once your confidence is back, practising in your own car between lessons is a good idea.
