How the Two-Part Course Is Structured
The program runs over two separate sessions, each with a different focus, and both need to be completed to unlock the logbook hours.
Course 1: Building Awareness
This four-hour interactive session covers safe driving topics like speed, fatigue, distraction, and peer pressure. Parents or supervising drivers are welcome to attend part of it.
Course 2: Applying It on the Road
The second session, run a few weeks later, applies these concepts in a vehicle. Learners practice driving exercises in small groups while an instructor runs real-time hazard scenarios, including reduced visibility and sudden hazards.
Logbook Hours Added on Completion
Once both sessions are finished, 20 hours are added directly to the logbook. This applies once per learner licence and cannot be repeated for extra hours after a second attempt.

How Booking Works
Booking starts with confirming logged hours and licence eligibility, since the course can only be completed once at the subsidised rate. From there, we lock in a Course 1 date, followed by a Course 2 session a few weeks out to give time for the concepts to settle before the practical component. Learners bring their learner licence and logbook to both sessions.
