The Safer Drivers Course is the single most efficient thing a NSW learner can do. It teaches hazard perception and low-risk driving properly, and eligible learners receive 20 bonus logbook hours for completing both modules — cutting the 120-hour requirement to 100.

Eligibility and timing

- The 20 bonus hours are credited after the second module.
Do it at 50 hours, not at 110. The bonus hours only help if you still have hours left to log, and the hazard perception training is far more useful while you are still building experience.
